A large elongated freeform cabochon of turquoise, running from olive green to blue-green with white and rust brown matrix, is set upright in a plain silver bezel at the center of the ring. The setting is framed by a stamped silver border worked in a stepped Pueblo motif and edged with a twisted rope, with applied silver leaves at the shoulders. The piece is signed, and the recessed silverwork is oxidized to set off the stamping. In a US size 11 it is a wide, ornate ring made for wear.
