Two globular chambers stand side by side on a shared base, joined by a low arching bridge handle and by a strap at the foot, one chamber rising into a bird's head with a hooked beak, ringed eyes, and a small crest, the other into a plain cylindrical spout of the same height. The modeled bird carries a raised wing worked in low relief along the flank with a scrolled contour, and the whole is fired to an even grey black with a burnished sheen that reads almost metallic across the fuller curves. Small pale flecks and pits are scattered across both chambers where the surface has lifted, and the bridge and spout are complete with no loss at the joins.
