The figure stands frontally with the legs straight and slightly parted, the arms held out and down from the shoulders with the hands not modeled, and the body flattened front to back so it reads almost as a slab in profile. A tall banded headdress sits above the face with a row of applied studs across the brow, and two large disc earspools project from the sides of the head, wider than the head itself and dominating the silhouette. A collar of applied clay beads runs across the chest with traces of red pigment held in it, further red survives on the neck and in the geometric bands incised across the hips and thighs, and the pale buff clay carries scattered dark mineral spotting across the torso and legs.
