A single strand of cultured pearls, cream to warm ivory in tone, hand knotted between each pearl along the length. The pearls are close in size but not perfectly matched, several sitting slightly off round with faint ridging and small surface marks, so the strand catches light unevenly rather than uniformly. The strand fastens with a pierced filigree clasp worked in white metal and finishes at 16 inches (41 cm), a choker length. It is a light, wearable strand of early cultured pearls.
