A flint dagger with a flared fishtail terminal at the head of a narrow columnar handle, opening at the shoulders into a broad blade that tapers to a sharp point. The handle is worked on all faces with close pressure flaking, and its long edges carry a row of small regular removals forming a raised seam down each side. The blade faces are flaked in shallow parallel scars running from the edges toward the midline.
The seamed handle and flared pommel imitate the bound and stitched grip of a cast metal dagger, translated into stone by knappers working at the close of the Danish Neolithic. The flint is a translucent grey brown carrying a pale fossil band across the width of the blade and smaller light inclusions through the body. The piece is intact and unbroken, with light chipping along the edge of the terminal and an even surface gloss consistent with age.
