A dagger worked from a single blade of mottled honey and cream flint, with a long narrow handle opening into a broad lenticular blade that tapers to a point. Both faces are shaped by invasive pressure flaking, the scars running from the edges toward a low central ridge. Retouch follows the full length of both edges, which carry a slightly sinuous profile where the knapper worked around inclusions in the stone.
The flint is heavily figured, with tan and ochre inclusions, patches of buff cortex retained along the handle, and a small circular fossil void near the upper end. Daggers of this form were made in Denmark and southern Scandinavia during the Late Neolithic, when flint knapping there reached its greatest technical development. The blade is intact and unbroken, with a matte weathered surface and old patination across both faces.
