A cast silver naja pendant by E L Billah, the crescent form worked with a grainy cast surface and stamped with half moon, arrow, and dot motifs along its length. A single oval turquoise cabochon sits at the center in a serrated bezel framed by twisted rope, with applied silver buttons at the terminals and a stamped bail above. The turquoise is a soft green with light matrix, and the silver carries an oxidized finish in the recesses.
E L Billah is a Navajo (Diné) silversmith known for cast silver najas and pendants set with turquoise. The work is hand signed. The cast crescent naja is a long standing Southwest form, carried here as a standalone pendant.
