A single strand of coral beads, each cut as a short barrel with flat drilled ends and polished to a soft sheen. The beads graduate in size along the strand, largest through the front where they sit close together, tapering to smaller beads toward the back of the neck. The colour is a warm brick red throughout, flecked with darker inclusions and small pits across the surfaces, and the strand is strung without knotting to a length of 22 inches (56 cm). It is an evenly worked single strand made for wear.
