A set of three Chinese portrait badges of Chairman Mao Zedong from the Cultural Revolution era, each printed with a color bust portrait: one in a straw sun hat, one in a green cap with a red collar tab, and one in a green cap within a gilt rim. Badges of this kind were produced in vast numbers between 1966 and 1976 and worn to show political devotion, and porcelain examples are collected as a distinct type among the more common metal ones.
