The belt carries a series of oval silver conchos on the original black leather strap, each cast in relief with a seated figure in a wide brimmed hat resting against a saguaro cactus beneath a rayed sun. Between the conchos sit small oval turquoise cabochons in green with dark matrix, set flush against the leather in plain bezels. The leather is worn dark and cracked at the edges with the original stitching intact, and the silver has taken a deep patina in the recesses of the cast scenes.
