The pendant is a tapered keystone plate of sterling silver, its face divided by a recessed panel and finished with a flat gold bar set across the upper section. Each side carries a slim baguette in a gold bezel, a red spinel on one face and an opal on the reverse, so the piece reads differently depending on which way it is worn. It hangs from a squared box link chain that passes through a slot behind the bezel, closing with a hook clasp and an extender chain.
