A rectangular cabochon of green turquoise fills the face of the ring in a plain silver bezel, the stone even in colour with only faint darker clouding and no matrix breaking the surface. A twisted silver rope frames the bezel, and outside it a border of round silver beads runs the full height of both long sides against a darkly oxidized ground. The shank is plain and tapers from the setting to the back. Measuring 1 1/4 by 3/4 inches (3.2 by 1.9 cm), it is a tall, upright ring made for wear.
