A large oval cabochon of pale green turquoise is set upright in a plain silver bezel that follows the outline of the stone. Rust brown and cream matrix breaks across the surface in irregular patches, concentrated toward the lower half, so the colour shifts from clear green at the top to heavily figured below. The bezel carries no rope, stamping or applied work, and the split shank is finished with small silver beads at each shoulder where it meets the setting. In a US size 13 it is a wide, plainly set ring made for wear.
