This Navajo cuff carries a central channel of chip inlay, crushed turquoise set around raised silver geometric motifs of triangles, crescents and stepped forms. At the center a red spiny oyster shell diamond breaks the blue green field, and stamped fan and sawtooth borders run along both edges of the band. The chip inlay technique, setting crushed stone and shell between silver elements, is characteristic of Navajo work from the 1960s.
