Navajo, Southwest
Circa 1970
Sterling silver, natural turquoise
Total circumference 7 1/2 in. (19.1 cm); gap 1 in. (2.5 cm); width 3/4 in. (1.9 cm)
This Navajo cluster bracelet dates to circa 1970 and is set with natural turquoise in the bezeled cluster format closely associated with Southwest Native silversmithing. The narrow 3/4-inch width gives the piece a trim profile while the 7 1/2-inch circumference and 1-inch gap place it within standard wearing range. Natural turquoise, with no mine attribution recorded, distinguishes the setting from the treated and stabilized stone common in later production.
