The belt carries seven oval conchos alternating with nine butterfly spacers on a black leather strap, each concho worked in repoussé with raised radiating lobes and framed by a scalloped edge and rows of fine chisel stamping. The buckle repeats the form with a raised oval face stamped with foliate scrolls and triangular punches around the open center. The silver holds a deep patina in the recesses against the polished raised surfaces, and at 277 grams the plaques are of substantial gauge.
