The belt carries seven conchos alternating with eight butterfly spacers on a dark leather strap, each plaque worked in repoussé and framed by scalloped and serrated stamped borders. The buckle is the dominant element, cut with deep scalloped edges and lobed wings rising from the open center, stamped with rows of arc and dot punches and set with two turquoise cabochons above and below the opening. The silver is heavy at 321 grams and holds a dark patina in the recesses, and the leather is worn dark and soft through the fold.
