Two frogs carved from blue turquoise are set side by side across the face of the ring in serrated silver bezels, one larger and set square to the band, the second angled below it. Each figure is worked with drilled eyes and incised limbs, the carving left rounded and smooth so the stone reads as form rather than surface. Clusters of round silver beads fill the ground between and around the two settings, and the wide shank is stamped with rows of dots and crescents. At 63.68 grams in a US size 9 3/4, it is a very heavy ring built at substantial scale.
