This is a matched pair of jaclas, each a short strand of green turquoise heishi finished at the tips with red trade beads and a shell cone. The jacla began as a separate ear ornament and was often looped onto a necklace as a pendant drop. The turquoise is a soft green with natural variation, hand cut and drilled into fine disc heishi, and at 3 1/2 inches each the pair can be worn as earrings or added to a necklace.
