A freeform teardrop cabochon of green turquoise, marked with pale matrix toward the base, is set in a serrated silver bezel at the center of the ring. Heavily ribbed and stamped silver shoulders sweep up to the setting on both sides, framing the stone against an oxidized ground. Fine fracture lines run across the upper face of the turquoise, and the silver shows a soft aged patina. In a US size 7 at 16.05 grams, it is a wide, substantial ring made for wear.
