This Navajo cuff bracelet is made of ingot silver and dates to the 1940s. Its broad form, restrained surface, and hand-worked character reflect the silver traditions of the Southwest. The bracelet was later purchased from Richardson’s in Gallup, New Mexico, an established trading source for Native American jewelry.
The cuff has a total circumference of 7 3/4 in, with a 1 7/8 in gap and a width of 1 3/8 in. Its surface is worked with stamped circular and linear motifs, giving the bracelet a clear mid-century Navajo silver character.
