The buckle is a broad oval of plain sterling, its surface left largely open and lightly domed, with a single stone of natural turquoise set slightly above center in a twisted rope bezel. The stone is a blue green with heavy brown and tan matrix running through it in wide veins, and the silver around it is decorated only by a light stamped border of arcs and small punched dots that follows the curve of the plaque. The buckle is mounted on a brown leather belt tooled with a scrolling floral pattern.
