A large oval cabochon of green turquoise, marked with gold-brown matrix, is set in a scalloped silver bezel at the center of the ring. The bezel sits on a wide band worked with stamped ribbing at the shoulders, the stone filling the face. The turquoise is cracked through the lower portion, with some matrix pitting across the surface, and the silver shows a soft aged patina. In a US size 10 at 23.03 grams, and measuring 1 1/4 inches (3.2 cm) long, it is a wide, heavy ring made for wear.
