Silver and turquoise
Circumference 7 1/2 inches (19.1 cm), gap 1 1/4 inches (3.2 cm), width 1 1/4 inches (3.2 cm)
81.04 grams
Provenance: Santa Barbara trade
The cuff is built from five heavy silver bands laid side by side and joined along their length, each band rounded so the surface reads as a run of deep parallel ridges from one terminal to the other. At the center sits a rectangular turquoise, green with a golden brown matrix drifting across the face, held in a plain bezel and framed by a rope of twisted wire. Flanking the stone on both sides are clusters of applied silver beads, a large dome set between groups of small round drops, arranged in triangles that step outward across the ridges.
