The wide band is worked in silver overlay, with a row of standing figures cut from the upper sheet and set against a stippled and oxidized ground. Two triangles of deep blue stone are inlaid between the figures, and the band is shaped in a shallow chevron that dips at the center front and back. The piece is signed RB, and the polished silver rim frames the recessed overlay work. At 18.30 grams in a US size 10 1/4, it is a wide band ring made for wear.
