A fabricated pendant built from folded and layered sheets of sterling silver and brass, torch textured and left with an uneven, worked surface. The lower panel carries a group of cut out horses and animal figures overlapping across the field, while the upper panel holds an orange stone cabochon set in hand cut prongs, the two joined by a wrapped wire crossbar with splayed ends. The metal shows deliberate fire coloring and warm brass tones throughout, and the piece is hallmarked M.C.S.S 98 on the reverse.
