Sterling silver, turquoise, and coral, on braided leather
Buckle 3 inches by 3 1/2 inches, belt length 48 inches, buckle 195.3 grams

This belt pairs an oval sterling silver buckle with a braided black leather strap studded with round silver conchos along its length. The buckle face is built up with applied silver feathers that fan across the oval, joined by a leaf and flower spray and lengths of twisted wire that curl into scrolls. Two turquoise stones sit to the left and right, one veined blue green and one a deeper blue, with a vertical piece of orange red coral set between them above a small silver flower. The silver has darkened to a deep patina that sets off the raised feather work, and the reverse shows the applied construction and carries a maker hallmark. The buckle attaches to the leather strap with its original hook fittings.
