A square cabochon of deep green turquoise, clouded with paler green and patched with brown matrix at the edges, is set in a plain silver bezel. A frame of large round silver beads runs unbroken around all four sides of the setting, each bead hand formed so that the row varies slightly in size and spacing. The setting sits high on a split shank, the bezel wall thinned at the lower left corner and green oxidation formed in the recesses between the beads. At 9.90 grams in a US size 5, it is a moderate, high set ring made for wear.
