The rectangular face of the ring carries a bear paw worked in silver overlay, the rounded pad and four tapered claws cut from the upper sheet and left raised against a recessed ground. The ground is oxidized dark so the motif reads clearly, and a single silver bead sits at each shoulder where the face meets the plain tapering band. The raised silverwork is polished bright from wear while the recesses hold their darker patina. At 10.58 grams in a US size 9, it is a solid ring made for wear.
