Two frogs carved from blue turquoise, veined throughout with fine dark matrix, are set one above the other across the face of the ring in serrated silver bezels. Each figure is worked with drilled eyes and incised limbs, the carving left rounded and smooth against the cut silver. Clusters of three round silver beads sit beside the settings, and the heavy shank is stamped with linear and scroll motifs on both shoulders. At 69.14 grams in a US size 12, it is a very heavy ring built at substantial scale.
