This Navajo watch cuff is built on a very wide, heavy silver band with hinged ends made to carry a watch face between them. The surface is worked with applied silver leaf and feather motifs, twisted wire and appliqué, and set with small round turquoise cabochons scattered across the design, all framed by stamped borders and marked with the hallmark ZENM. At just over 231 grams and a full 2 inches wide, it is a massive, substantial piece dating to the 1990s.

Larry Frank was a Taos collector and scholar, co-author of Indian Silver Jewelry of the Southwest 1868 to 1930 and New Kingdom of the Saints.
