The figure stands to attention on an oval black base, the legs held straight in rust brown trousers, the arms hanging close at the sides, and the head turned very slightly so the face reads three quarters from the front. A blue V neck sweater is painted over a white shirt with a yellow tie and a small diamond motif at the chest, and a grey camera on a strap hangs at the waist with a second dark case fitted at the hip. The paint is applied flat in solid blocks with the hair worked as a single swept yellow quiff, and the surface shows scattered chips and paint loss at the base, the shoulders, and the toe caps.
