This Pima coiled basket has a cylindrical body with gently flared walls that widen toward the open rim. A single band of dark geometric figures in devil's claw runs around the mid-body against the natural willow ground, with stepped angular forms that interlock across the surface. The coiling is tight and even throughout, and the basket retains a warm honey tone with light surface wear consistent with age.
