This wide, shallow Pima coiled tray has strongly flared walls that rise at a steep angle from a narrow flat base to a broad open rim. Large geometric figures in dark devil's claw are arranged in repeating panels around the interior and exterior, with angular stepped forms set against the natural willow ground. The coiling is fine and even, and the basket retains a warm tone with the dark elements well preserved across the surface.
