The vessel takes the form of a guinea pig, with an elongated body, short legs, a rounded snout, and a small upright ear on each side of the head. A stirrup shaped handle rises from the back of the animal, forming an arched loop that joins into a single cylindrical spout at the top. Fine whisker like details are incised near the mouth.

The body is finished in a reddish orange slip across the head, legs, and rear, with a wide cream white painted band encircling the midsection. The stirrup handle and spout are also finished in the same reddish orange tone. The piece is intact, resting on four short legs.
