A modernist pendant by Tom Rose, built as an open sterling silver circle crossed by a floating trapezoidal frame that holds a single turquoise cabochon. The turquoise is a blue stone with heavy dark matrix and gold host rock, set flush in a plain bezel against the spare geometry of the silver. The circle and bail are lightly hand finished, and the piece is signed by the maker on the reverse.
