This rectangular buckle is covered edge to edge in geometric mosaic inlay set flush into sterling silver channels. White mother of pearl and dark jet alternate in stepped serrated bands that repeat across the top, bottom, and corners, with a bordered central panel carrying the same pattern. A single horizontal line runs through the middle of that panel, built from segments of orange coral and blue turquoise interrupted by a small block of jet. The inlay holds a polished level surface, and the silver framing has softened to a warm gray patina. The reverse is hallmarked C. Dishta, Zuni, sterling, and retains its hook and bar hardware for a belt.
