The tall rectangular face of the ring is inlaid with horizontal bands of stone running the full width of the panel. Blue and pale green turquoise alternate with black jet, a yellow-green stone, and a deep red-purple stone, each band cut flush and stacked without silver lines between. A plain silver frame encloses the inlay on all four sides, worn thin at the upper corners, with light scuffing across the stone surfaces. At 16.60 grams in a US size 6 1/2, it is a tall, upright ring made for wear.
