The ranger set comprises a buckle, two keepers, and a tip, each inlaid with tapered stones set on edge and standing proud of the silver rather than ground flush, giving the surface a raised and faceted relief. The stones run through turquoise, coral, lapis, malachite, and shell in bands of contrasting color, cut to varying widths and angled so the light catches each face differently. The set is mounted on a black leather belt worn dark with use.
