The slide is a standing katsina figure cut and built from silver sheet, the headdress rising above the head as a broad crown set with eleven turquoise cabochons in graduated ovals and rounds, each in a plain bezel with silver drops between them. The face below carries turquoise at the eyes and mouth, framed by a beaded ruff and a row of stamped necklaces across the chest, and the kilt is stamped with fine zigzag and dot work and centred on a single round turquoise. The arms are held at the sides with the hands worked as separate pieces, and the legs hang free below the kilt, each with a moccasin at the foot, so the figure moves as the bolo is worn.
