The pin presents a Sunface, with the central disc divided into quadrants of turquoise, red inlay, and white shell above a band of black and white shell forming the eyes and mouth. A ring of white shell wedges surrounds the face, framed by an outer band of black jet rays alternating in width, each stone set into its own silver channel. Inlay of this scale requires every piece to be ground and fitted individually, and the reverse is fitted with a hinged pin stem and catch.
