Provenance: Private collection, Rio Rancho, NM
Around twenty small round turquoise cabochons, blue-green and evenly matched, are set in staggered rows across the domed face of the ring. Each stone is held in an individual bezel cut into fine prongs, with a scalloped silver edge finishing the lower border of the cluster. The cluster rises well above a plain tapering shank, and one cabochon at the lower edge shows a chipped face, the remainder intact. In a US size 6 1/2 it is a raised, domed ring made for wear.
