This Zuni cuff is built as a large oval cluster, with concentric rings of teardrop and needle cut turquoise radiating from a central stone. Each small stone sits in its own fine serrated bezel, the rings divided by twisted rope wire in the precise petit point style for which Zuni silversmiths are known. The turquoise is a clear blue green, closely matched across dozens of hand cut stones.
Smaller matching clusters continue onto the shanks to either side of the central rosette. The 2 1/2 inch width makes this a wide statement cuff that fills the back of the hand. The dense, evenly worked lapidary shows the careful stone cutting and setting that distinguishes Zuni cluster work.
