Hosteen Goodluck was widely respected as one of the most important, early Navajo silversmiths. He was a master jeweler and active from the 1890's to 1930's. This beautiful classic 1930's concho belt offers third phase crafting of ingot silver. Hand hammered, each concho has beautiful repousse and detailed stamp work. The design is set with beautiful Natural turquoise cabs, that are set in hand oval bezels. The back of each concho has a single copper bar weaved through a soft leather belt measuring 1". The belt has a lovely patina from age, having been stored carefully in a private collection for many years.
